Long time lurker on the forums. I was watching a "how to" video series from Laguna on YouTube, in which they used doubled sided tape as a hold down for 3D carving a very thick piece of wood....

I've been looking at these Chinese Cnc routers on fleabay (eBay). I may just go for a used one on Craigslist instead
