So I think in wire frame mode on the simulation I can see some lines which shouldn't be there so I'm guessing there gouges ..??

Cheers guys il defiantly pay more attention to the lead in and out I always leave those setting at stock . It's a pity the error doesn't show up on the simulation .... Il have to do some trail and...

The you tube vids are good and they got me going but they don't a plain all the setting and I don't understand why I'm getting gouging but it's not visible in the simulation

I'm haveing the same sort of issues definitely thinking about getting a bed machined out of steel to replace the Alui extrusions ...

Thought I'd share my personal update as this thread has helped me heaps[emoji4]
Everything is setup and dialled in I ran the test engrave programs supplied from omiocnc in some MDF...
