Re: Help for PMC ladder for Fanuc O-M

Sorry for the late reply. The short answer is that I bought a eeprom reader, read out the chips I had, then I downloaded a dosbox emulator and changed the code in FLADDER adding the G127.5 line and...

Re: Fanuc 0M number and dripfeed?

Don't get anything yet. I use fusion 360 for CAD and CAM. It's free until you produce for more than $100k/year. Start with that for testing and see that everything works before you spend anything on...

Re: Fanuc 0M number and dripfeed?

Is it a OMate? On both mate and om-c you can hit prog button until ladder comes up and then you search for G127.5. You should be able to tell from the ladder what needs to be activated to set G127.5...
  4. Re: Fanuc Series O-Mate M drip feeding and PC setup

I had a Mate MC control in mine that I did try drip feeding on. You need to enable drip feeding/tape mode. On my mill that part was missing in the ladder so I had to pull out the chips, read them,...

I've not been very good at updates here lately but I figured that I could add some pictures from todays project. I got a similar vice to the one I have so I can install two vices and run more parts...

    Fanuc OM-C Tool probe macro

I've installed a Renishaw TS20 probe (originally for a lathe) on my vertical machine center and I use it to probe tools in Z direction. For now I written a simple macro that calls the tools I...

Re: Fanuc OM z axis crash

Does the servo power on? How is your servo screen looking does it show load on the axis if you push one or have load on one of them? If not I’d start looking for something hardwired to the servo...

Re: 1.5kw or 2.2kw spindle for aluminium, question

I wouldn’t worry to much about the fuse. I run this 2tonn machine with 3.6kW spindle, 3x 750W servo motors, flood coolant pump, conveyor screw motor + controls off a 16A breaker. I don’t do heavy...

Re: Macro B #3006 Operator message on OM-C

That explains a lot :) Is there other good ways of giving a message to the operator on what to do? Now I've used M0 and created a comment below in the program but then I have to access the program...

    Macro B #3006 Operator message on OM-C

I created a tool probing macro and it worked great. I just wanted to input some messages for the users to know what to do but I've spent the last 4 hours googling and testing without any luck now.

Re: Fanuc OM z axis crash

If you go into parameters->diagnostic->700 and read off bit 5 what does it say. It's the one with 1 marked here "XX1XXXXX". Then same with 701 but bit 6 "X1XXXXXX". If the 700 one is active you can...

Could this be a interlock problem? If you click the parameter buttons can you get into the diagnostic list and check what diagnostic 600-602 and 700-702 says and post back here? I don't have many...

    Re: simultaneous axis problem

Do you have the line in the G code it fails on? In older fanuc (OM) moving 3 axis simultaneous is an option that had to be bought/enabled in the 900 parameters and the same goes for 4+. An error like...
