Turns out this is being caused by the Proma THC SD. When I take it out of the equation the movement is correct.

I have a plasma cutter and I added a z axis to it. I command the axis to move up or down 1" with the axis set to zero. When I lower the axis 1" (G0 Z-1) it moves 1.035" measured by calipers....

I've got a herocut 60i cnc plasma cutter and it has a 1:1 arc voltage port on the back. For safety reasons I would rather divide that to 50:1 and then send it to my Proma SD THC.

Bummer...just got off the phone with fastenal. They would need to bring the shim washers in from a vendor and the minimum order is for 100 of each. Works out to $97 for both sizes...back on the...

Yeah I used 10mm on the Behemoth for the Y.

Looks great Hoss! IMHO you really don't need the middle rail in the Y sled. There are really no forces acting on it and I doubt that the aluminum you used would sag.
