Hi
Looking for manuals for a V-CNC 500. I found all the manuals for the fanuc 21i-mb. Not hard as they are online, but without the machine manuals, they are a little vague. Lol
Anyway thanks...
The fact that half of it was disconnected was me playing around. I suspect there are 2 nozzles and each has a separate system.
Now to find manuals...
Problem solved. Thank you the_gentlegiant for pointing me in the right direction.
Just had to actuate them a ton to prime them.
Thanks again.
Amazing how thinking about it as a mister changed things. Found the closed valve hidden in the body for the air flow. Now if I can just figure out why actuating them isn't releasing oil anymore, I...
Actually, looking at the system again, while thinking of a mister, I'm pretty sure that is what it is. One valve drives the supply air for carrying the oil, and the other is the oil shot.
No air...
Hi. Thanks for the reply.
I'm not sure it's not a mister. It very well could be. The spindle is belt driven from a fanuc spindle motor. It could be that one was functioning fine, and the other...
Hi.
I just obtained a V-CNC 500 in really good shape except the spindle lube system isn't working.
It consists of two small pneumatic oil pumps. Each has a proximity sensor to detect the oil shot....
Actually the credit for the majority of the code goes to Scotta. I just modified it to do some additional retries and fixed a bug. So, to answer your question, I came up with those numbers by...
Attached is my modified vfd driver. It supports turning on the vfd after starting linuxcnc, and it has quite a bit more stability in the communications. I doubt I'll be reving it anymore unless...
Sorry for the very late reply. I thought I had posted a reply, but then today I looked and I don't see it here.
In the stuff you posted, you have these 2 lines..
I believe the halpin needs to...
I too experienced this. It would correctly ready the motor poles and rated rpm about 1 in 6 times of starting up. It turned out that the issue was with the hy_vfd driver. What was happening was a...
