I've changed my VFD to 120 for minimum speed. Any more input for

PD009=
PD007=

Now?
Even though I have run it at 6000 for up to 30 minutes without it getting warm (just breaking it in), I don't really need that low a speed except for occasional drilling. I could adjust my settings...
They did not have a recommended min speed. I currently have it set to 6000 (100Hz)
Mactec54,
Any more thought on what

Unfortunately not. I've resigned myself to the fact that I messed up and need to replace it. Just want to be ready when that happens.
I'll probably take this one apart and see if there is anything...
Mactec54, on those other settings - should i be using any of them?
Finally found time yesterday to get it running. Seems to run fine. In going through some other posts I find one that you also...
Well this is an expensive lesson to learn!
You are right. One of the solders must have come loose. The plug is fried.
If the VFD does not power up does it mean it is also dead? Is there any kind of reset on them?

I did not change any of those settings since you told me to wait on them.
I'm not sure what a Megger test is.
I did a continuity test on the spindle.
I have continuity between ground pin and case (i double checked that the ground pin was connected to the case before i...
Well Disaster has struck!
I was about 75% through a job of milling some aluminum plates when I hear a pop from the spindle and a wisp of smoke. The VFD was also dead - as in no lights at all....
Finally found time yesterday to get it running. Seems to run fine. In going through some other posts I find one that you also recommended a few more settings than the ones I had originally. Are these...
I'm not using Modbus (I don't think) I'm using the UCCNC HY plugin using the RS485 converter. Doesn't the Modbus work off of the analog inputs?
Going to start it up today.
OK, got my VFD/Spindle. Have the VFD wired and Spindle installed but have not connected the spindle yet. I wanted to run it past here first.
Attached are pics of my wiring and settings.
I would...
I am trying to get my mounting plate ready before my spindle/VFD arrives. After a lot of searching (including the manual) I cannot find the dimentions of the mounting holes for the
HY 02D223b VFD....

I'll keep you posted as I move forward

You are right - I was going to use a separate 110v circuit. I will change that now as I'm going to start the wiring this weekend.
A couple of things to clarify if I may:
In the US here our 220v...
Ok, guess I need to rethink my layout.
Thanks for the info.
Hopefully I'll receive the unit in the next couple of weeks.

Is the mounting plate necessary? I've seen diagrams where both the shield and ground are connected together at the E terminal? Doesn't that accomplish the same?
Thanks,
I think I am clear on the shield grounding, but would like to see you diagrams just to make sure.
