    Thanks for the link, got some ideas for polar coord milling.

    What I forgot to say was when it gets to the M29 line trying to tap
    with main spindle it just stops and sits there with no error.

    Ive been looking through the manual at parameters, had to find magnafying glass to read it.

    How can you tell if vfd has rs485 componets.
    Its a Huanyang 2.2kw 220v HY02D223B.
    The screw terminals have rs+ rs- connections.

    Yes, I have 1610 (5mm lead) double start Chinese rolled ball screws on my machine. 2 of the 3 were bent, straightened best I could.
