the reason you cant check to see it on the screen is because there isn't any tool movement. or better put is no tool path no preview. if you want to see movement you will need to run the machine...

What kind of machine are you using? the flats don't look flat to the stock. are you setting the part at an angle or flat to the table?

do you want to turn or mill this?

it sounds like your post is outputting arcs smaller than your machine can cut. there should be a minimum arc setting in your post. if not you should contact Solidcam and get it added,

personally i would recommend using the money to pick up a seat of SolidWorks standard. that would give you great 3D modeling. and the downloading HSMXpress (its free) its a full 2D milling program.

when you changed to your 64 bit did anything on the hardware change? did your old pc have a 25 pin port and your new one have a 9 pin?

I would recommend taking a look at HSMWorks and if your doing 2.5 axis work looking at HSMXpress is a must (its free).

The only 2 that come to mind are MicroEstimating and Costimator. I don't know the cost but i know they both are estimating software that have been around for quite a while.
