    Spindle Speed

    G'day guys,

    I've got a 1100 - Series 3.

Every time I have to set a tool height, it drives me crazy that the spindle "homes'' first and then
travels at 110 mm per minute, down to the tool...

    Re: UPS for a Series 3 1100

Here's the message that I've sent to Tormach support.

    I'm in Australia, so we use 240 volt and I have a 1100 - Series 3.

I would like to use a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) so that I...

    Re: UPS for a Series 3 1100

I probably should have explained myself a bit better.

The property that I'll be moving to in about 6 months, seems to get black outs occasionally.

I figured that if the lights (on the ceiling)...

    UPS for a Series 3 1100

    G'day guys,

Just wondering if anyone has used a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)
for the 1100 and the controller.

I thought that it might be worth doing, although I have no idea of what...

    Re: Need a measurement

    Hi David,

Thanks for doing that, I really appreciate it.

The numbers don't need to be "dead" accurate, as I'm making a cover to go over the top.

If the cable chain is above that measurement,...

If it's not too much trouble, could you give me a measurement from the table instead of the floor, please?

    Re: Need a measurement

    Hi Bruce,

Just thought that I'd double check... is the measurement that you gave me, measured from the table to the top of the enclosure, or from the ground?

    Re: ER Collet nuts

    G'day mate,

I've never really "shopped" around for tooling.
I buy all my tools from Iscar and (although) they're not cheap, they're always good quality.

The current price for a collet nut...

    G'day Guys or fellow Tormachians,

    Yeah, actually I did.

The lock nuts, that hold the end of the air cylinder had come loose and that was causing the error.

So, can you edit the CSV file in Excel, or you have to use a text editor?

    G'day guys,

I'm running the latest version of PP 2.?

I read somewhere that you can export the tool table as a CSV file.

I'm assuming that you can import the file into MS Excel and edit it?

Re: Lost power to the coolant pump

As mentioned, I don't have any power to the socket, that feeds (power) to the pump.
I'm actually working on it now, but I'm not very good at this sh!t.

    Thanks for the input.
