MDO is Medium Density Overlay.

That's better than Extira. It's too heavy and soft. Call your local sign supply and if they don't have MDO they can tell you where to go.

I'd epoxy it to 3/4" MDO and roll a couple of coats of of epoxy on the sides and back.

That has to do with the size of letter.

24" Letters can have a larger tolenence than a 2" letter.

I'd suggest you edit just a little. It's fun and easy with most programs.

I think Gorilla glue is the best with HDU. It's so soft you can sand it off of edges and not affect the HDU. Epoxy is way too hard and you'll be sanding your background away.
