Jogging is fine. When I run a program dry it sounds a little rough.

That was it - finally got is going! Thanks. Did not cut anything yet. On a dry run the steppers sounded a little rougher than usual - is there some setting to check?

Decided to try using GrblGru instead of GrblPanel but jogging gives error "Grbl error 15 ... Jog target exceeds machine travel".

I found some "!" in the language file but mostly in comments - did not seem like removing them would help. Is there a particular line?

With your suggestion I found the problem. I had my tool setup wrong. I had number of flutes at 0 and width at 2 - should be 2 flutes and 0 width. Suggest to improve defensive code / error reporting.
