Thanks for that it works great
Well after using using my home built machine for years, I now find my self a little confused
My X axis home setup is Soft max =310 soft min = -310 Home off = 310
So if I issue G53 X0 this places...
Mastercam can save the machined part as a stl you can also simulate the maching and then save the toolpaths as geometry if you send me a gcode I would give it a crack
to see if I can do what you...
If you set the speed you want for the xy axis to say 50% then when you jog Z you should be able to press shift+Z jog key to jog at max on Z just a thought.
Hi guys I have been trying to get the laser mapping file to work with the ESS
I have followed all the instructions but have had zero success at getting the file to alter PWM output based on xy...
Hi guys I have been using Mach3 for many years
My Machine is capable of doing 30mtrs per min although I have ever only run it at that speed once to do a drill pattern of thousand of holes in a piece...
When I get 5 mins to spare I will set my motor up on the scope and takes pics of the probe points and the scope it may take me a few days.
cheers !
Its pretty much the same as Al_The_Man says you do need a scope to check the alignment and the pulse
I back run mine with just a small 12 volt dc motor with a belt drive on the scope you easily see...
Hi could you send me the Gerber and drill files Thanks
[email protected]
cheers
Okay I found a faulty chip on my Yaskawa encoder the chip no is "Yaskawa jl-041a" after replacing this chip and re-aligning the phases I am happy to report this motor is now working perfectly thanks...
would you know where I could get a Yaskawa encoder dp9304138 for a sgmp-08a312
Yes in my post I state that this is a ac servo I do have a 4 channel Tekronix scope 2465B I aslo have 2 other identical servos in perfect working order
As a hack I could back drive one of my other...
Hi Guys
I just replaced the bearings on one of my yaskawa sgmp-08a312 ac servo and now is seems that the encoder needs to be re aligned
I removed the encoder with great care it is fixed to the...
Hi okay I had the same problem and the trick is to set the ports and pins in Mach3 ports and pins
If you read the bottom line on the homing page of ess it says
E) Only assign values to the three...
Hi guys does anybody have a Nertajet Zip 20-40 amp plasma:wave: cutter that could help me with some wire numbers
I was given a unit that had some parts missing and I need to know the wire numbers...
Maybe something like this 813 GetDRO/SetDRO Blended Velocity DRO 813
You are trying to run the steppers way to fast they are missing steps slow them down and then bring the max speeds up to a point where they are not losing steps
I don't know if I am reading this correct but I am using Yaskawa AC servos these can be configured to out put a error if it they do not arrive at the requested position I use this error in Mach3 to...
it looks like your reaching the end of a g31 move place the probe about 10mm above the sensor and try again
Before you try to ref all home check you diagnostic screen and make sure the switches are not all ready active
if you have a active switch it will send the first homing axis in the wrong direction...
Ess Mach3 Version R3.043.062 PLugin a-v10-f1
Hi guys I have been using the ESS for a few years now but I just decided to try the ESS homing function
and ran into a problem
Homing works as it...
Well in all the Testing I have done with Mach3 G31 probing can be a real pain and quite problem matic
One thing I do know for sure is Mach3 does not respect the soft limit settings in a G31 move...
The A axis should only require 1 rotation to complete the job but if the object is complex and has protruding parts for instance the knight from a chess set (Horse) with ears neck nose excetera
It...
I did not add a 2.5d surface probe routine however I recently needed this function my self so as a quick work around I did build a routine to do this which is not currently in the current macro files...
The 4th axis probes routines are for objects placed in the rotary 4th axis ie A axis it can be parallel to the X or Y axis selected from the interface.
The object is then probed for 360 Degrees,...
I have no Idea I use it myself on a daily basis I can only tell you it has been downloaded over 600 times I built the routines to suit my needs
I have had no feed back from any other user (good or...
My probe routines do 4 axis point cloud for Mach3 search for "Squirrel Probes"
I would start by testing the ethernet card itself by sending a constant ping to the ip address from a command prompt type "ping -t ipaddress"
If this test okay I would then check the cable between...
This looks okay but you need to sure about the "g53 Z0" g53 means to move in machine coordinate so you need to make sure that g53 Z0 retracts the Z axis to the top of it's limits and not the bottom...
What version of mastercam are you using and what is the name of the Post Processor you used
also what Machine Def did you select
