I would run a ground wire from the control box to the spindle mount + another from the control box to the vfd earth. Its an easy thing to do and it will eliminate any interference from grounding...

Have you re-done the grounding in control box?

Solved the problem. I had the spindle mounted too high in the bracket and it was bottoming out and loosing steps.

I only found this video, so I don't know what the spindle speed is. I do know that the material is a Polyurathane block.

They guys that made it are from Norway and they have there own website...
