    I Use Planet CNC and it Works Great!

    I was waiting for the new Mach4 to come out and got tired of waiting so I got the USBCNC controller and drivers and have not had any problems with it at all.

    I make a lot of patterns and the really detailed ones are hard to sand up and prepare after machining. And when I try to download your models I get messages that say this site is not safe.

    I bought the Longs motors 1600 OZ Inch fit from ebay and run them with the planet cnc software and driver board. And it works flawlessly. Have never lost a step yet.

    I use a program called bmp2cnc.

    This has all the settings for feeds and speeds as well as heights and depths. You can choose tools and everything. Mach 3/4 is one of the post processors available.

    I make carving patterns with ZBrush and General Image Manipulation Program as the zaplink setup. And I use a program called bmp2cnc to turn bmp raster files into g-code.

    Or I make them into STL...
