Joe,
I am aware that you have heard this before, would you mind emailing me the updated drawings of your machine? I have the original drawings you sent me awhile back and I was just about to cut...
Do you sell ACME lead nuts for the 5/8"-10 ACME 1-start screw?
When do you think the eDrawings will be ready? Will the file be uploaded to the CNCzone's download section? I am looking forward to it.
Thanks.
How did you adjust the bearing block to fit tightly on the EMT?
Thank you for the eDrawings files and they work fine. I was able to measure the individual parts of the machine in eDrawings and create a new part file in Solidworks.
I like your new idea using...
joe2000che,
Can you pass along the drawings in Solidworks for me to use? I am using Solidworks 2005.

Regarding using the L297 to drive higher current bipolar stepper motors using transistors, here is something I picked up over the internet some time ago - note that the URL does not work.
I'm wondering if this metal induction hardening can be homebuilt? Where can I find something to read about it?
jimmy southern,
Thanks for the feedback.
Can you point out which CRS rods from McMaster-Carr's catalog? I'm looking for 1" rods and there are too many types to choose, but which one!?
Isn't true that the drill rods are a bit tougher than the cold rolled steel rods? IMHO the tougher the material, the better durability for the skate bearings to travel on, thus less wear.

I am considering building myself a CNC router using the jgro plans. I would like to subsitute the gas pipe linear rails with drill rods. The drill rod is much smoother - I think. The rails will be...
I'm in California and will soon move to Colorado Springs.
I am looking for a metal supplier that supply steel and aluminum sheet and square/round bars in small quantity in Colorado Springs.
How do I anodize(?) steel turning it into a black color?
Mariss,
Did you get my SASE package?
I will be writing the article for a class project and I have until Feb. 17th to turn it in. I could submit it to some trade magazine publisher - maybe EDN or Design News.
Other drives will be...
Will the defective board have all the parts mounted?
I am writing an article about circuit board layout design of several different stepper motor drivers and create a comparison table. By the way, I am a student.
Does anyone have a defective Gecko G201 drive that I can use for research?
Have a look at the websites...

Thank you guys, I've found what I needed at Caplugs.
I am looking for a supplier of black plastic caps to cover hex bolt heads - 1/4" to 9/16".
I've tried searching the internet and I have found some suppliers, but I was unable to locate the exact...
I figured out how to use the Indent feature from the Help menu in SW. Practice is the key.
2005 changes? Umm...actually too many to list. There is a "What's New?" informative book in PDF with over 200 pages long and I am still learning them. :p
Never mind - I figured it out.
I am using Solidworks 2005 with the new Indent feature.
I cannot figure out how to use the new feature.
Anybody?
The bearings axial load is rated 1500 pounds.
