Most CAM use same way for CNC programming. And GibbsCAM is easy for learn if you have some training materials.

If you only aligning solid models, just select one face and right key for "align face to cs"

Nobody can create the gcode from a .STL file

MasterCAM POST often show error messages, I can help you if you want fix it.

If you use 3/8" tap and put 24 tpi, in process you choice Tap and put RPM 240, you will get F10. in your program, you can try another PostHaste, should be no problem.
