I can measure the tube when the new machine arrives. I was just hoping that somebody was currently running the Genos L250 and the ATS 3J...and I could copy the draw tube adapter.
Thanks though.
Wondering if anybody is running an ATS 3J collet chuck on a Genos L250e? I need to make a draw tube adapter to change it over from my Cadet LNC-8.
I’d really appreciate if some could measure, or has...
If that was closer to Minneapolis, I'd have it on a trailer coming to my shop.
I had a 4VAE...used Surfcam on it. That machine is a beast, two speed geared head, box ways.....messy though has it isn't enclosed.

If you go to the parameter page, can you move the x-axis soft limit (variable) up?
You need to indicate the face of the turret while you move the x-axis in and out, and then the tool pocket to check for turret rotation.
My guess is that you have about a day of turret alignment...
Try this
G1 X.8 Z0 F.005
G76 X X.898L-.0135
and Z- to your next X move
Just to bring closure to the thread.
I replaced the CH1A, CH1B, CH2A and CH2B relays on the RU1 board. Works like it supposed to again. Which one was actually bad? Good question, but they all have...

I installed a display from Monitech to replace the display on my 5020,,,,the instructions at that time left something to be desired. That was around 4 years ago, maybe the instructions still need...
I must have either swapped out the wrong relays or something else is gong on. I swapped out the 6pcs of RI-D25M....and nothing changed. I think I need to research the wiring diagram a little better.
My first thought was the chuck solenoid, but I think I've ruled that out as moving the door switch allows the collet (chuck) to actuate. The "clamp/unclamp" status LED changes immediately, yet the...
I'm the only person that runs it. When it delays, I can get it to open as soon as I move the door interlock switch..not the key, the switch.
So I've had this machine since it was new. I run some short run production using bar stock material...without a bar feeder.

Years back on my mid '90's Cadet...I had a 907 alarm.....and when I pulled the pump unit off the reservoir I found that the pump driveshaft drive pin had sheared...replaced the pin and it's been good...
I'm trying to figure out the p/n's for the main spindle bearings on my LNC8. I should have all the manuals, but I can't locate the parts book. I sent a parts inquiry to Morris Midwest a month...
Any information as to changing the spindle encoder timing belt? LNC-8
All,
The parts book list the drive belt as a 12PK1445 Rib Ace. What is on the machine is a 7PK1445 and a 5PK1445.
Should I go with the two belts, as the factory had it, or the wider single...
He has M41 called...low range rpm is like 1000rpm. He needs M42 to get the max 4200rpm, unless limited by the G50 line.
Hello,
I have a 1994 LNC-8. I owned it it's whole life. I recently had an issue with the BLDIII drive. That is another long story, but the short story is that the machine has a BLDIV drive now.

On my Cadet lathe, I changed CROKA and CRVAC relays. They are both Omron LY2N 24vdc relays.
Looking to see if anybody has a P/N for a cycle start switch contactor? It's a Fuji 22mm diameter switch. 1994 LNC-8
Just don't want to have to go to Okuma for it....thanks!
What is the N3 line?
Thanks for all the help...I'll load these in and test then paths.
I see on the pdf what you were speaking about. Is there a reason the upper tangent line is at 45 degrees rather than the 25 degrees?
Given the type of part it is (the relief holds a spring) the 45...
I'm just looking for a tool path for the relief. The part is made from D2 and the run is 180 pieces. I will run them from a bar, so the relief needs to be machined towards the tailstock.
Groove towards tailstock...that just how the print was drawn.
And yes, the tool is drawn correctly. Note, I work in inches...Thanks!
Okuma Cadet LNC-8...OSP5020
