Hi Rick
That's great. I like the video. It really shows the common person how CNC can do amazing things. Great example. And it sounds like you know what you're doing. :) Thanks!

Pretty cool project. Looks like you will need a CAM system that provides full 4 axis indexing and wrapping with customizable posting capabilities for your machine. What is the price range that...
Hey that is just one of the coolest things I've seen up here. I don't know how an airbrush works but I was curious about the post. Did you create the post with a percentage for air on/off in the...
Here is a video clip showing automatic roughing toolpath and step reduction technology. It's not a long video but really shows how this toolpath works. Enjoy...

there is a website that has videos, articles and is kept up to date on cad-cam systems. it's just another good resource at CAD/CAM Software. Check it out. Good luck :)
"What is the BEST ________ software" is a pretty big question no doubt. When it comes to CAD Design the folks in this thread have given you some pretty powerful solutions already. Personally the...
I would recommend doing some research like the other guys suggest. Sounds like you know what you want and depending on your budget there are some great products available. Odds are, the CAD program...
Maybe it's possible now since we got everything cleared up on this little confusion, to change the name of the thread from "I GOT RIPPED OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" to maybe......"Small Confusion -...
Gordon, It's more likely that you were offered the Hobby Version of our software or an earlier version rather than V25. Is it possible that you might have misunderstood which product it was that you...
There is a bit of everything here but I'm going to start off going back to the beginning. Paul did not get ripped off. Even if there was a misunderstanding on "what" was included in a package offer...
You guys are doing some cool stuff up here with software and CNC. Keep bringing it!

Hi KOC62,
I thought I would step in here and help answer your question. I think TurboCAD is a great product for the cost. BobCAD is also a CAM system that will take your TurboCAD model and offer...
Dear L. Kiefer,
I see that you have been a customer since 2005. We appreciate that and we are looking into things as I write this. One fact that we have discovered through working with thousands...
Hi WEnis,
I'm going to take an honest crack at helping you here but I have 3 simple questions:
1. What do you need to do with a CAD/CAM product?
2. What do you want to have in a CAD/CAM product?...
Do you have a license of SolidWorks?
Your best bet is to go with a CAM product you can afford that works inside of your SolidWorks. As far as Mach3 you just need whats called a post processor.
Best,
Chris
BobCAM for SolidWorks is a certified Gold Partner product listed on the SolidWorks website. It handles 2, 3 and 4th axis. The variety of toolpaths include Z-Level roughing/Finishing, Planar, radial...

We don't have one for optimizing graphics cards. There are simply too many of them to cover but maybe we can help you with yours if needed.
Thanks Rob/Engine Guy for all that. Sorry about the dongle and HSP stuff. Not much I can do there even though I wish I could for you. I don't know about transfer fees for your predator. I think...
Oh ok. We are working on FAQ's and should have them up on the new site hopefully tomorrow. Let me look and see if I have that one now though...

This is another great example of what you can do with BobCAD. Nice.

BurrMan, You've done some really great things with BobART. Any other cool projects?
CNCdude
Aussiegazza I've been tracking you up here and it looks like you are doing some really nice work with our software. Do you use BobART for anything?
CNCdude
bert7, it generally doesn't take long to get someone going with our software. What is the issue you are having? Or better yet, email me at [email protected] and I can help you. We appreciate that...
Not sure what "sucks" about it since nothing was actually mentioned that holds water but I will say a few things.
1. The new site puts us in a new direction to be able to better support our...
Sabastian,
The videos you saw on the web are manufacturers that make parts with our software. As far as support, we offer multiple levels of it for a fee that is lower than anyone else in the...
Over the years I have seen a lot of users up here help others that had questions. While I do see this continuing, we really don't see CNC Zone as our Support Forum. This is why we have one located...
