    The blocks are mostly square , maybe I should have machined a ball into the soft jaw rather than a cylinder to increase point loading and place it at the top of the vice so it forces the part down...

    These are in a SMW mod vice so the movable jaw can swivel as it tightens on the cone of each holddown bolt , that was the reason i went with point loading on the movable jaw.

    I am currently using a AXBB-E with a g540 on port 3 , works very well with the ability to add another 2 drivers to make it to a 5 axis on my setup.
