with those rails you have to install them to a micron really. other wise your whole frame will be deforming while you moving your table/gantry.

i have put them in the computer case. so cables are going directly to the cnc.
less boces and more space.

we have been talking here about electric noise. not audio noise.
I do agree with guys here that water pump could be less noisy. quieter.
