I purchased an Jian-Ken JGL-80 water cooled spindle, 2.2kw with ATC. I'm setting up the pneumatics for it now, but will soon be moving to the pump and reservoir. Is there a recommended size of...

@Joe184, have you had a chance to finish your build? I'm thinking about doing a 4x4 Evo 2.0 build but haven't bought plans yet... Curious to know about your overall experience, what components you...

  8. Re: Best bit for cutting 200+ holes in thick Baltic birch plywood?

Sounds like a plan - except for the 1/4" holes, a flat bottom is necessary. The drill bits would leave a funnel-shaped bottom, correct? Is there such a thing as a flat-bottomed drill bit?
  9. Re: Best bit for cutting 200+ holes in thick Baltic birch plywood?

Thanks for the advice. For the 1/4" holes on the first pass, I suppose I could use a spiral upcut with 1/4" cutting diameter, right? Since surface tearout isn't really an issue as the 3/8" bit will...
  10. Best bit for cutting 200+ holes in thick Baltic birch plywood?

I have a new project that calls for more than 200+ holes cut into 25mm thick baltic birch plywood, for each platform. My overall project calls for more than 100 of these decks, so lots of hole...
