Instead of using multiple colored LEDs you can achieve the same thing by getting the LED in the right color temperature. If you are looking for a light similar to the traditional incandescent light...
I made this one a few years ago. Just a quick photo etch for a prototype with 3mm leds. Have not fired it up in a few years and one led strings is now dead. It fits around the spindle and is to be...
Thanks for the info, that is exactly what I needed.

Finally getting around to my X2 CNC conversion. Will be using the CNC Fusion kit. Right now I am working on designing my cabinet and need a few measurements from the CNC Fusion kit. Cannot find...
Those cheap bandsaws like the HF freight ones work great. Stand is flimsy but does not matter. When I used to race cars we had one a Central Machinery one that was about 20 years old. Cut roll bar...
I am planning on using fiberglass resin for mine. I would hope they have not banned fiberglass in California. Check your discount auto or whatever auto parts places you have.
Hmm. Wonder where I seen that before? BTW, will be ordering one in the near future.
Thanks for the heads up on that. Saves me from buying another board when it comes time. Can't believe I missed that. I will only have to worry about a relay board for the coolant pump. I just...
I don't believe there is a plastic guard on the one I recommended. But really are you going to stick your finger in there while it is running more than once?
I believe this supplier is a member of the CNCzone.

This is the one I am looking at myself. There are also many plans online to build one yourself. From my research many are...
Have not used them myself. But will be trying in the near future. Just making a suggestion. At $30+/- its not a lot in the big picture and may worth it.
Have you considered using the er20 and er16 3/4" shaft collet extensions. Most are 4" and would have to be shortened but would be about $30 shipped. Here are a few I found on eBay:

Those are aluminum relay rack sides. I had one a long time ago. They should be pretty strait and about 1/4" thick. At $6 a piece that ain't bad.

We use those type of clamps on our dvd movie kiosks. They just make them with square slots as keebler303 said above. Never had one slip or come off.
Here is the one for Memorial Day:

My 2 cents. Why not drill oversized holes then fill with lab metal or jb weld then drill and tap that instead of the mdf directly. We put together a cracked in half 2nd gear on a Honda CBR with JB...
So I have a X2 floor model I bought for $299 from HF. Have not run it yet as the power cord was cut and the spindle speed pot was broken. It has been disassembled and being cleaned up. I plan on...
That is good to know. I have a little HF X2 in a million pieces right now.
Actually Grizzly has one the same as Micro-Mark. Just found it and it is $20 cheaper.
H7661 Quick Vise
I use the 4" Quick-lock milling vice from Micro Mark. Part number 82577. Pretty sturdy and fits the X2 well.
If you want a real deal look for floor models. Last year I scored a second x2 from Harbor Freight for $250. They were no longer going to carry it in our local store. No tools, handles, or the...
Hi, I have been lurking around this site for a few months now and this my first post so I hope this does not seem like a dumb question. But this 'Colt', are we talking about a Bosch Colt palm...
