Ok, I hooked up the VFD and powered the VFD up only with the spindle unplugged and all other power off and set the parameters on the VFD.
I pushed the run button and arrow key up and down all seams...

Al, what do you mean by S,S output and do you remember what page of the manual it is on.

Can anyone tell me why there is a ground symbols under the R connecter?
mactec54 said to connect L1 to R and L2 to T.
That's the way I had it connected but better check to make sure.

Ok, I have that all that done. Now I have the VFD wired except the PMDX-107 to the VFD.
What wire should I use, is Security 18 gauge shielded wire good to go from the VFD to the PMDX-107 board....

Going back to your build.
I was looking at your wire Schematic and you have only 3 wires on the VFD to PMDX-107, is that right? Some wiring Schematic have 5 wires.
I have the same setup as you....

Ok, I will bring one cable to one central enclosure to feed everything on the machine. I thought the VFD had to be separate.

The small disconnect box is just a box with 2 - double pole breakers, one for the pump would be 15a and the other one for VFD not sure about.

Also on the VFD should only be wired using L1 L2...

The main panel in the shop is really the subpanel from the main panel at the poll.
I was planning to run 220v line to the VFD box from the subpanel box in the shop

So I can cut the plug off the end of the pump cord and hook each wire to 120v.
The pump case is plastic.

I got a Haunyang VFD 2.2kw water cooled spindle Kit with 220vac water pump, off EBay.
The pump came with a 2 prong plug, which is to my understanding is 220vac on one prong and ground on the other...

So, I guess I can't make this wire work.

Ger21, I bought Belden 29520C 16/3C XLPE/PVC VFD WITH 3. Is this wire ok for 2.5 kw vfd to spindle? It's three conductor, can I use the bare wire as ground for the fourth wire?

Al, did you run the same wire and flexible conduit through the cable chain to the z axis to the spindle?

That's what I thought. Guess I'm just reading the wire diagram wrong.

That's what I thought to but in the small red box on the wire diagram,
It looks like the com. side of the power supply ( Mean Well SE-1000-48) goes to ground. Is that correct?

Also John-100 all the numbers in circles around them in the wire diagram is that a description of the item and if so were can I find the description?
