    Agree a 100%, I don’t use flood as have the machine in my den; if I do pocketing I get to stand there with high pressure air gun -deep drilling and taping gets ‘tap magic’ on a brush. Not perfect...

    Sounds like you are going about it the right way... which means looking for other avenues, which others will be able to comment on better than me. The only thing I would suggest is just double check...

    +1 on the above.

    It looks like you are leading out either vertically or at 90 degrees to the part. Depending on your CAM you might not be able to arc out, as Steve suggests ; if this is the case...

    1) I share the space on occasion with my my good wife ..... and she isn’t a fan of sewing when chips are flying.
