Re: Haas 2005 VF3 Spindle RPM Mismatch

Your tapping speeds are way too slow, unless you are doing inconel or something like it. And again, when did this start?

Re: Haas 2005 VF3 Spindle RPM Mismatch

First, check to see if rigid tap is actually enabled. You know the "1" is there. A rigid tap cycle will look the same whether it is turned on or not, just won't synchronize.

    What did you change...

Re: Can I use (Stranded) #8 wire?

The grounding rod is not for the machine ground, it if for lightning and static protection.

Re: Removing Motor and Transmission From VF-2!

Truth is I don't remember. It has been a long while. I am thinking I spliced into the hose, but not sure.

    Re: Haas VF2 way/spindle oil?

I agree, as I have two machines over 20 years old and no problems. I would stick with Vactra #2.

    Hope this helps!

P.S.: rereading it I guess it may not. Don't have time to pull covers right now, maybe later.

    Re: Spindle oil pump tubes

Simply replace the hose. By the way, the original hoses were clear plastic I believe.

    Re: INVALID I, J, K

If you are doing a simple hole, I just use G12 or G13.

    Re: Alarm / message delete

My memory is the same, you can't delete one program, you must delete all.

    Re: INVALID I, J, K

When you move the start location you throw all of the code off. It is all dependent on start and end locations. You could change your Y offset for G58 by the .016 and then it would work. But,...

    Re: Alarm / message delete

Did you disable 90000 program protection?
  16. Re: loading tools using their pocket number in G Code on Haas CNC mill

On a Haas, you use T12 not P12. And, a normal tool change in a program is T12 M06, where T12 is the tool to go to and M06 tells the machine to change tools. M06 is G-code.

    Re: Alarm / message delete

It will probably not let you edit it, but you could try saving as the correct number then deleting the bad copy.

    Re: Alarm / message delete

Probably a 90000 program. Show them and delete it.
  19. Re: Haas Mini Mill 2 w/ 24 tool changer: What's a fair price?

Freudian slip, "mini kill." Yes, the pallet jack will work just fine.
  20. Re: Haas Super Mini Mill experiancing problems on power up

Sounds like a bad main mag starter or solenoid on the main mag starter.
  21. Re: Haas Super Mini Mill experiancing problems on power up

Not sure what the number is, but it will be the one just below the main manual breaker. Lines go into the main panel breaker and then into the mag starter.

    Glad it is working.

  22. Re: Haas Super Mini Mill experiancing problems on power up

Out of the PC measure each lines voltage to ground. Two should be about identical and one will be much higher. Make sure the two normal lines are connected to terminals 1 and 3 of the mill. Hook...

    Re: Oring groove tool

I think what you are looking for is something like in the picture below. This one is made by Valenite. The problem with these is that they are only good for one diameter of groove because the...
