    the ones in blue look like they are for tapping 1/4" to it should be around 0.19", Also the antibacklash nut housing is only for acme nuts if you are using them, if you ate using dumpster delron nuts...

    He will probably glue aspoil board on top of that and then when it gets worn resurface it many times, then when it gets to low, resurface then add another spoil board on top and do a final surface.

    You may want to look at the tensile strength, I think it may be lower than HDPE but in this application may be just fine. Also I believe that some of those materials is oil impregnated for self...

    Some have done it but the acrylic can be brittle. I had made some of my hybrid out of acrylic and it worked.
