  1. Re: Saturn 4'x4' My Second Build the first time with Clearpath Servos

Got mine in summer 2017 and has been used almost every day as well. Couple spindle upgrades and currently installing an Aluminum surface plate. I use to support High School Robotics and odd jobs...
  2. Re: Fineline Shutdown or Perpetrating a Fraud!!

I would be interest as well - but not without looking at the machine (or what's left of it).
  3. Re: Fineline Shutdown or Perpitrating a Fraud!!

Agree with Dave - Nathan has a great product line but stretches himself pretty thin in what is a competitive market - have faith

    Did you get the machine?
  4. Re: Control power relays on CNCRP Nema 34 box?

I'm struggling to get the 'Flood' or 'Mist' controls working with the subject relays. Once Mach three is enabled, the relays go 'ON' and are not controlled by the buttons in the diagnostic screen. ...

Thanks for the suggestion - I tried propane and held it on the bolt threads from the back side (removed the Z-axis plate from the machine) for a couple minutes. Still not getting it. I read where...

I am in the same situation. Purchased the exact controller mentioned and was surprised at the level (not) of documentation. Google searches yield some returns (based on model number) but...

    GMT Air Cooled Spindle

Finally got 220 V to the machine and we're ready for the GMT spindle.
Does this spindle use any brackets to mount on a Saturn?
I looked on the FLA site and could not find anything.

    Does it...

Re: Monsters Machine - Saturn 4X4

We love the machine - very solid. No doubt it'll cut as fast as the tools and materials will allow - and it is heavy. Nate can give you the actual weights. Ours came in with a shipping weight over...

Understand and agree. We have magnetic limit switches on our other machine (below) and they were no big deal to install. The inductive sensors are not as friendly to package. Sound like I need to...

Re: Monsters Machine - Saturn 4X4

Agree we need a better design option for mounting the larger motors on the Z-Axis.

X and Y are well thought out and it seems like we're missing something for the NEMA-34 Z-axis installation.

The machine is not shown 'centered' on the table so it looks like a little more room than intended. But the table is definitely a bit larger than necessary - did it cause we could I guess.
