    Hi I am having a unit down too. The same problem as yours. Haas says they don't even fix this anymore. If your fixup works out I would like to go the same route. Maybe you can sell me a set of gears?

    4th axis

    It does not really matter which axis you use as long as your 4th axis is setup that way. In Bcc you will have to use the conversion function in the NC window. Be careful it is a bit tricky to use.

    G68 is not neccesary for engraving since the engraving string includes an I value which will give you the rotation of the character. You just have to find the placement point for each letter.
