Go to Fagor
I have seen it work.
They are looking for people to be trained right now. As far as I understand it is free if you participate in their making of a video.
Hi, there is lots of free stuff on the net. One of them are Sorin's tutorials. They are very good and free. There are several threads on this site that point to it.
I have 4 Haas mills and use Bobcad. I might be able to point you in the right direction.
try to look for a shop that does gun drilling.
I would go and ask the tech guys at IMSI Design
well, there is a can of worms if i ever saw one....
In general in our shop there is no walking away. If the job is in its first path and a guy walks away he might as well keep walking out the door. ...
Remember to also not work for the competitor of your main source of income.
You probably have multiple instances of lines. Run cleanup before you delete files.
Happens to us all.
Hey Art
Tell me how much and when I can pick it up. I am in Midland/ Ontario, just north of you. Can you give me the exact model number just to verify it will work?
Wolfgang
Hi I am having a unit down too. The same problem as yours. Haas says they don't even fix this anymore. If your fixup works out I would like to go the same route. Maybe you can sell me a set of gears?
Hi Vern
You did nothing wrong in the programming of your part. The Haas tapping cycle always comes out faster then then it goes in, unless you change that parameter. I suspect that you are using...
Ditto that.
I use dwg files regularely. Inventor files won't work. I found if they are saved as Autocad R14 they work best. Some features are not working great, like splines and some arcs are a pain to work...
They come only as factory installed. You can not add them after.
As I understand, you don't need 3D yet. A suggestion comes to mind. Have you looked at the BobCadCam version 19? They call it now Hobby Pro. It is almost as good as the others. It does not support...
TurboCadCam is not capableof 3d machining. It was created for 2 1/2D.
If you need more then 2 1/2D I suggest BobCadCam. It will take several fileformats from TurboCad. Dwg,Igs,Dxf,Sat,Stp. It is not...
cutter style: Hi Pos+ series 22J3E
Inserts: AOMT 180508R
GRADE: look for something around the 1030 grade
Flush with coolant
This will do your cutting after the hole is drilled
See my reply on CadCamTrainer forum.
Age is not the important thing in live. As I look back on the years I have past, and there are not few I learn that age is not important.
There are a lot of young bright people out there. For those...
It does not really matter which axis you use as long as your 4th axis is setup that way. In Bcc you will have to use the conversion function in the NC window. Be careful it is a bit tricky to use.
We had ours custom made by a sheet metal shop. It works great. we reused the pump that came with the original.
Of Bcc. The Original V21 Did Only Open Up Sldprt Files From Solidworks 2006.
Had the same problems. There does not seem to be a workaround for this. It happens in other Cad systems too.
Depends on what you are doing. For straight Cad TurboCad beats BobCad by miles. Turbocads Cam addition is not bad if you want to do 2 1/2 d only. BobcadCam beats it on the Cam side any time.
As you...
He better have version 21 then. Look at the engraving on 3d in bobcadcam post.
The best is based on opinion. I have used Bobcacam with Turbocad for nearly a decade. Throughout this time I have used other software as well. I always go back to my most trusted applications. ...
G68 is not neccesary for engraving since the engraving string includes an I value which will give you the rotation of the character. You just have to find the placement point for each letter.
This...
It can be done. You will have to figure out the start position and angle of each letter first and program them individually. I have a lot of similar arc engraving to do and created a template for it....
This is a common problem found in a lot of software. Workaround? There isen't any. Find out what works, record the procedure and use it that way in the future.
