    I have a 7.5yr old standard 4896, using nema 23 motors, and a 2.2kw spindle. Machine controlled by LinuxCNC with 2x parallel ports.

    Is this detailed enough? 3D AzTec calendar at 9" round...

    I did a project for a friend who owns a restaurant. I ended up just taking a picture of his logo with my his res camera. Worked perfect.

    I have vcarve pro and it does everything I need. And it's easy to learn and use. If you only intend to do things less than 25"x25" then vcarve desktop may make more sense.

    I haven't done anything with it since, so the stepper is just working with the load. And when I go to turn it off, I'll put the gas shock I bought on as a "kick-stand" to keep it from falling.

    I just follow his instructions as he has written and works fine. Some times you have to close the tab and middle click again until you get the "skip ad" without the pop up crap.
