As I see it , the scope of motors that this will drive is very nice ( steppers being the exception)

Will it support;
speed vector and torque.
will it support rising and falling edge for the encoder ( say 10000)
accept external interrupts eg limit and estop.

Both Nigel and Micheal have converted their mills to ballscrews
Nigel has fitted oversize balls to take out backlash on old screw/nut.
Maybe a chat with Nigel could be informative.

Its for a cycle counter. In this example its counting the number of times the code makes parts ( i think)...
