Bump. I’m also now getting a 35 - SP tool commanded when I call up certain tools. Anyone know what this means and how to get rid of it?
Hi,
I purchased a MV junior (yasnac control) today, and the seller told me that when programming a speed anywhere over 4800 RPM, it will only run as high as 4800. The machine has a max speed of...
Hello guys,
I have a very oddball request. I'm currently injection molding parts that will require me to heat stake roughly 32k inserts total in plastic parts after they're molded. I was wondering...
Thanks for the info guys. I will look over that manual more in depth, although I might just find someone in my area who can service my machine and get it over with instead. It looks pretty simple as...
Thanks for the info guys. I have attached a picture of my machine, hopefully you can tell me which head I have, as I'm unsure. I am pretty mechanically inclined, I just haven't touched a BP head...
Thanks guys. I tried to tighten the spindle nut, but the spindle keeps trying to spin while I tighten. It seems like it won't tighten anyway. I have attached a picture and video of what I'm talking...

Greg, there's more to building a mold than just throwing it in a mill, cutting the cavity, and running some parts. You have to make sure you oversize the part to allow shrinkage, add waterlines (see...
A little late on this, but I'll throw my input in.
So, my suggestion is to get a small water chiller. Hook it up to the heat exchanger and feed throat. It will circulate water for you, and...
So you're saying it goes past the clamp open set point?
See above. The real issue is, do you want to get into something (money and time wise) that you don't know how to do? There's a lot of learning on how injection molding works, such as packing...

Send me info, I can help you out for your project. [email protected]
I don't think so due to the angle while being hollow.
I ended up going a different route. I placed pins in a vice, and used the mill to cut it using a 3" cut off wheel mounted to a bolt. It seems to work just fine. Thanks though everyone.
OH. And one last thing. I started facing it off today and noticed something weird. I made the first pass with no problem, then I cut the second pass and it was deeper than the first. Any ideas as to...
I thought I could plunge it. I just like to check before I do anything. Thanks for your help!
I'll check when I get to work tomorrow and see what kind they are... I forget.
Because I am 20. I've been around injection molding and machine shops since I was born, due to my parents...
What's up guys. I own a Plastic Injection Molding company and I've hit a snag. I had a machine break down and the only way I can get a mold that needs to run today in a machine, I need to put a...
No one? :(
Hey guys,
I recently picked up a surface grinder and was wondering the best way to cut ejector pins with a surface grinder.
