Hello Jeff
Now the input light is working when I press the limit switch
what shall i dol next in mach 3 to figure it out?
you mean like this?:
i put the negative lead of the multimeter on COM and
positve lead on postive supply measures 5.1 volts OR
postive lead on inp 1 measure 1.5 volts
all reading are normal...
no it only toggles on and off when i hold the input wire with my fingers and press the switch
yes i know it has been 2 weeks or more trying to set it up
did both (active low and jumper to COM)

can't take a photo right now my phone's camera is not working now
i made this diagram
all input leds are always off
no it doesn't
tried this setting
and tried enabling x home only
5 volts 2A dc switching adaptor conected to +5 volt and gnd on BOB
it got the motors moving with no problem
i'm using limit switches similar to the picture
I'm only testing one switch (x axis) assigned input port 1 to pin 11 in mach3 (as in BOB manual)
connected one pin to COM and the other (NO or...
Hello Jeff
I'm currently setting limit switches but it is not working
i measured voltage between input ports on BOB and com and the same result like 2.55 volts
can i jump wires from external 5...
Servus,
i figured out the problem thanks to Jeff, it is related to supplier's defect in info about the board
now the motors work fine
i'll start caliberating and tuning soon.
about the Tb6560,...
I contacted the manufacturer before about supplying it with external 5 volts
they confirmed that the +ve 5 volts on-board is an output not input so i cant connect 5 volts to it
However i got...
Yes the reading is 0 volts
with everything removed except 220 volts main supply
5 volts connection on BOB measure 0 with multimeter
sorry for being late
had two busy days in work
No different vendors.
Yes i get motion with these connection only
+ve 5 of the bob (which is 2.55 volts only)to +ve clk,+ve cw,en ..of the driver
clk ,cw of bob to clk- cw- of driver
No it get locked also
.
Yes it is disabled
And I enabled it before but no change!
Yes I did that before with old wiring
And did it now
Same result ..motor locks but no movement
Neither UK nor USA
I'm in Egypt
Yes I'm using mach3 vR1.83
Yes did that after checking parallel port on pc's motherboard
yes i did that
It was the first trial connection I did before starting this thread
Motor also locks but no movement
I don't get it
Why do motors move only when power is wired from 5 volts of bob...
It is an 5 volts 2 amps dc switching wall adaptor
And it measures 5.1 volts by multimeter
