    When I simulate a tapping op it goes extremely slow just for the tap.
    I screwed the pooch on my question...I specify IPM for the tap feed rate.

    How would you do this mold insert?

    Here's how I did it.
    Material started as 4.00” x 4.75” x 7.25” aluminum
    Ruf looking surface is +.030" to be finished when installed in main mold.
