I can definitely see they are more complex.
You mention leaving an onion skin on the full sheet, would that allow you to nest the parts on multiple sheets like a flat table. I was more thinking...
That's sheet goods.
Comparatively speaking.
Thanks for the reply.
It's a pod and rail machine. I cut first goods, case parts and small wood pieces typically. I usually throw a 4x8 sheet on the machine for full cabinets, etc. Can this be...
Hello all. I am thinking of purchasing a used 2009 Biesse Rover B 4.40 but wanted to see what you guys/gals experiences have been going from a standard Mach 3 configured CNC to these large...
Hello all. Does anyone have the completed 50 Digital joints vectric files with toolpaths already laid out?
Here is the link for the 50 Digital Joints, but it would seem a waste to redo work...
Update:
I purchased the Huanyang 3kw VFD from Ebay and the spindle works perfectly.
It seems the the cabinet containing all the drivers, VFD, etc, was not grounded...in any way that I could...
Thanks all, I tried dealing with the VFD that was installed but it was too much of a pain. Wouldn't accept settings, etc.
On another note, the 3KW spindle didn't have the metal water inlet...
I will try to rewire it first. If I can figure the VFD functions out, I will definitely use this spindle.
Will let you know how it goes.
Thanks again.
Thanks Al and Jason, that clears it up a bit. Here is what came up (in Chinese..Google translated) when I entered the numbers on Google, here is what came up.
????????????????
Looking at the...
The funny thing is, the display is showing on the cabinet, but I have no idea on how to run the thing. I have been unsuccessful in finding a manual for the VFD.
Don't know how to rewire it for...
Can anyone help me identify the spindle in the pictures below. I think the VFD that came with my second hand CNC is Three phase and I only have one phase in my shop.
From what I can find, the...
Only info I could find was for a three phase spindle that looked similar but required what I thought they said was 380 volts.
Ok, guys here's what I know and have learned about components on the one i have.
Note, this one was converted to use Mach3 and uses a controller card from Machmotion.com
My machine components....
Basically, I was asking did you think a USED one here locally selling for $6000 is worth it, compared to ordering one NEW from a chinese manufacturer?
Jason,
I saw that video earlier, very impressive.
I have an opportunity to buy a basic Weike 1325 with a 3kw spindle for about $6000 US, and wondering if that is a good price or ripoff compared...
Jason, I am following this thread with interest. I'm particularly interested in what you had to do after the sale to get it working with Mach 3 and to your liking. Do you think that the after...
Ok, I'm not sure about the controller then. He did mention something about the shopbot training, so he may be leaving it as is. I talked to him today and declined to purchase the unit.
Thanks for the info. after your post and much research it looks like it's the pr96 original model. He says it was a 5 or 10hp regenerative blower (3 phase). I only have 240 in my shop so don't want...
Yes, I think shopbot is proprietary. He is replacing the controller to a Gecko controller. Yes, everything is included.
Right now it is not running, so he is only replacing all parts if I'm...
He said it was a pre-2000 version, maybe their first. I'm intrigued because of the rack and pinion, ballscrews and vacuum setup.
You're right. he did say it was a shopbot. He says he will get it up and running and completely cleaned up. He wants about $3000 for it.
I looked at the mechmate and of course that's my dream...
Gentleman selling an old CNC router.
It is a 4 x8 rack and pinion system, with ballscrews on all axis.
It already has the vacum table built in, he has the 3 phase blower with it, but that's too...
I met a gentleman that is doing some production for me on his ShopBot PRS Alpha CNC for my small cabinet shop. We mentioned to him some time ago we were thinking of purchasing a starter CNC to train...
