Nice sharmstr! Can you please share the details of your hack? Not sure what Tormach was thinking when they programmed this feature... I never reference off the SW corner either, it's a floating...

Hi Alastair
Welcome to the UK 770 community. Andy bought his coolant from me (cheers Andy). If you would like a bottle get onto eBay and do a search for Hangsterfer's which should take you to my...

Welcome by the way, nice to see more UK...
In a word, rigidity. Those BF Machines are manual conversions, so not very rigid at all. Also did a lot of research on various options and spoke to a Wabeco owner who also had a 770 and said the...

Nice bunch of guys here and feels good to be part of the...
Getting smaller with every purchase pal. Yup every thing is in arms reach...... :)
Hi tbev. Read a couple of posts regarding how poor the factory flood coolant performs on the Tormach and made the decision there and then to go fog buster. In hind sight I should've just pulled the...

2 Months since placing the order and here stands my PCNC770, from the USA to England! Barely enough space in my little garage for the 770 so good thing I did not push the button on a 1100. Looking...
Hey Guys
I have come to realise that life is just to short to be cranking on a manual milling machine wheel, so, have decided to take the plunge into the world of CNC.
Naturally budget dictates...
I am sure somebody with way more experience than I will be along with the correct answer, but to me it looks like you either need to up your RPM on your 2 flute end mill, or use a 4 Flute end mill to...
Keen the 770 and 440 are rated at 110V.

Hi Dave
I downloaded the manual for the 770 today and whilst having a read noticed that Tormach sell a Step Down Transformer for International mains supply.
For the sake of simplicity I have...
Hi Dave

Many thanks for the link and great source of information.
Going by the dates of your posts I am guessing the purchase of...
Hello Gents
