The power drawbar floats on top of the spindle and is a little loose like that. Follow the directions to the letter, double check your work, and you will be good to go.

A phase converter is not required. That's the job of the VFD that is in the Tormach lathe and pcnc1100. The requirements are 220v & 110v (US) single phase.

Read page 49 of the manual. It looks like M01/BREAK is active. When execution reaches the M01 line, the machine stops and requires clicking on CYCLE START to continue.
