I don't have much lathe experience but isn't G17 not needed??? we use G18 on our cnc lathes...(doosan lynx 210)

So i am trying to figure out if there is anything special i need to do for chamfering holes before tapping. i have read that as long as i am chamfering greater...
If we say the sfm is 300 X 12 = 3600
then the tool diameter .343 X pi = 1.078
then divide 3600 / 1.078 = which gives you a RPM of 3339
Then using .002 (IPR) X 3339 (RPM) = 6.678 Feed rate
