Maybe some pics would help. Beam height match tooling?
The tennant before me went OOB and left behind an almost full drum of Blaser Swisslube. They cut 99% aluminum. I put it in my VTC300C because it was free. Didn't like the smell when new, gave me a...
Primary use is wrench flats I think. Skipped that option.
The battery went dead and the machine lost the bios setup info so that the PC could not find the hard drive. I had Stiles recover my hard drive and mirror it onto a brand new drive. They said...
Where are you located? General US location ?
A tech who went out on his own did all 4 of my machines for me, for $0.00 too. I think Mazak charges a lot to do this too. Just something simple in the parameters but I don't know what it was.
If it is a square pocket you can cut an X pattern corner to corner at slow/proper feed. Go back to higher feeds for the rough pocket because there are no corners left.
Was your other Mazak a Fusion control?
FYI, the Fusion 640M (mill) control selects tools by their names and can sometimes be a big PITA.
Every CNC machine has horror stories attached to them. I had to do a small bit of strongarm to get my Weeke replaced too. Same s**t, different manf.
The PC at the machine has powerfull shop floor...
Wow! I thought I was one of the few who used poly concrete. I use several tons per year and have a few small tidbits to add. For internal threads I use standard concrete anchors, the type that are...
Do you even need the M codes when using Mazatrol? I have the Fusion series and never use the M codes to transfer parts.
Are you talking about thick phenolic? If so then carbide is the best answer. You are looking for a heavy chipload and a low rpm to get better tool life(compared to wood). Low helix finishers work...
I think Busselato is the only Italian machine that can go head to head with the German machines. I'll be looking very hard at Busselato when it comes time to replace my Weeke.
Most important is the...
Many manufacturers make some like that. Onsrud is one. many will make them custom as well.
