Thanks for the reply.
The Spindle & VFD have been working for a couple of Years, so I guess that it is wired correctly. 230Volts in at the correct Points, and Spindle output where it should be.

Hi Guys,
Due to life getting in the way of Life, I haven't been around the Zone for a Year or two.
Getting back to the Machine last month revealed an issue with the VFD/Spindle System.
I...
Hi Guys,
As the Title implies, I have a Gecko G540 & Mach3 Combination which has been running fine but occasionally throws up an 'Active Limit Switch' Error.
My Machine has neither E-Stop nor...
Does anyone know where in New Zealand I can source the TB6560 Driver Chips from? I've got a job on and have blown one.

Jason, What tooling did you use for this work ???
Jay, would you be happy to share the G-Code for the Japanese sign??
Just fishing again - Running the thread again to see if anyone bites.
I used to operate a Spinning Lathe which formed the tops for Milk Tanks which were 15 Meters diameter. For a sixteen year old Kid, as I was at the time, this was one big WOW!!!!
Benny,
how is your X Axis configured. Do you have a Servo/Belt arrangement on both sides of the Gantry or just one side ??
Drop me an Email some time if you want to make contact to swap ideas etc.

Ynneb,
Interesting setup, I'd not thought of using belts in this manner. I like the Pros/Cons/$$$ ratio and would seriously think on this idea for a bigger machine than present.
One question - How...
Wher in NZ are you Paul ?? (I'm in Wgtn).
Thanks Jerry, Spalm noted that "All Units in Inches" on his opening screen, so I assumed from that.
Is there any way to get a screen dump from the preview window??
Spalm, I am seriously impressed with the work that you have done on this program - no sooner than I download one version, another is on it's way.
May I suggest a couple of "improvements";
1, Metric...
Thanks Guys, helpful as always. Registration of the file is exactly what was needed. Now off to play with the Spirograph . . .
Thanks for that Gerry,
I've unzipped the DLL into my Windows/System Folder and rebooted the Computer but the Spirograph program still doesn't see the DLL.
The error message is;
Class not...
The File that your program requests is MSSTDFMT.DLL
Should this have been installed with XP originally ???
I've been trying to use your program & find that I cannot run it. The program wants a particular DLL file which is not on my machine. Reading back over this thread, I see that you wrote this in...
I'm not a programmer, but I can see the benefits of Jack's suggestion - It almost brings the CNC Mill into the realm of the Ornamental Turner.
Do a Google search on 'Ornamental Turning' and have a...
It's a thankless job so get the Apprentice to do it.
Ask me how I know . . .
Thanks Benny, I just found that out when 'the Zone' spat the dummy and didn't accept the files. I'm working on them at present, cleaning them up & converting them to DXF, so I'll upload them then....
I'm about to try and upload a Triceratops and a Spinosaurus to the Downloads section. Both files are BMP's for general use. There are two files for each dino.
Here's another shot of 'TrackBot2' under construction. It shows a better view of the track mechanism which was recycled from old mainframe computer data tape drivers. I had a camera mounted on the...
Here's a Vertical 'Upside Down' Engine that I made a couple of years back. No Castings were hurt in the production of this model - everything was made from solid material - no Castings, no CNC, no...
I've built a number of 'Bots, ranging from basic Brattenburg machines, to a 1.2 metre Radio Controlled R2D2 style. Also a 4 Motor/4 Tracked Mobile 'Bot controlled with an onboard Laptop through the...
Benny,
Have a look at this . . . It may keep you busy on a rainy day.

Is there any way that Ace will save the last set of parameters ? ie. cut depth, rapid height etc.
Is there a program which will add line numbers to G-Code after it has been generated by Ace Converter? It would help me to have line numbers when debugging some of the strange things that Ace does.
Zoltan,
Have a look at this guys CNC Machine which uses Stepper Motors similar to yours.
He has a working area of about 300 X 500 mm.
