Sounds like they are going to fix folks up. Thats great.
The only fix for a brand new tool like this, is a replacement of the junk one with the proper tool. Literally nothing else should be an option. Or Tormach would have to give some kinda concessions....
I would not trust them just because 3 members all in the same thread saying the same thing. All with one post each. This kinda thing seems to be badon this forum.
Beautiful work Brother. I dont know nothing bout music, but thats some nice work.
Why does anyone need to explain anything? Lots of smart dudes here. The OP can take the info and figure out what works IMO.
Brother I agree 300% On all points. Perception is reality though. I have watched hours of tormach video's. I know it can get it done. I also know most the best machinist can be located in a garage...
Most shops have no clue what a tormach is. They certainly have no idea what a pathpilot is. You are doing nothing but a disservice to students if thats the extent of the machines they train on.
...
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I must have missed where I said not to teach that stuff...
When I went to school, we learned all that and done so on real machines, with real industrial controls. We also...
Sweet my man. Make that money
Spring passes. Run the last pass twice.
If you are training machinist to go in to production or job shops, use real machines. Depending on what you are making, you could do way more then 10x production on a vf3 over a tormach. Small parts,...
Or maybe leave .01 on both sides and hit it out with a hammer.
Have your helper cut the center out with an angle grinder. Then just clean it up on the mill. I know I can rip thin wall like that fast as all get out with some cut off's
The thing is, you need to design and build the intensifier pump. It's only unsafe if you build it that way. Many people likely would build it unsafe or failure prone. Everything else can be bought...
Often times the CAM prog will allow you to mirror the paths. Never used a Tormach
Buy a machine and learn to use it and the prog needed.
Everything cost so much now a days cause no one makes their products. Also why it's so easy for a company to go belly up. If you own a...
I do not know what all you have tried so this could be mute. 90% of the folks I have seen part (including me) are no where near as aggressive as the tool want to run. It's a sketchy process, but they...
Tech schools often action or sell old stuff when they get new stuff as well.
The best way to find a sweet deal.... Pocket full of cash, constant searching every kinda search term, and leave to buy...
Sweet. Will the RT work as a continual 4th axis? Looked like it can index.
They are worth exactly what someone is willing to pay, and the other dude is willing to except. I sold a 1959 Bridgeport base with an old 110v shaper on it. No milling head. I got 1000 bucks. The...
For the welding machines we use to build we just ordered pre ground stock. Then machined it how we needed.
Well you would want to because you have 500 parts, each with 15 holes, all of which you can do before the machine is done running the next part. Even more so when you have a helper. Although the...
Manuals are great for one off's and repairs of basic 2d parts. Great for power tap, great for making things square, great for popping holes in things that have wide open tolerances.
A cnc is what...
I dont know anything about onecnc. I have not watched the whole vid. But it is a onecnc "mill entry" video. I hope it has some good info.

Ah well then. ahahahahaha. Thats far more rational I suppose.
Did you mean 164ipm? Cause 1.64 is not all that snappy ahahaha
It's the horizontal lead in radius that needs changed. All I see there is vertical. Maybe in the drop down.
Looking at the code. I do not see any lead in arcs. You should see a g02/3 with the...
Can you post some of the code? If it's on the side you need more radius in the g17 xy plane
Typically yes. Or just the location it is coming in at all together.
I am not sure what you are doing. But if the tool is cutting on the bottom f the tool and leaving marks on the top of the part,...
