Hi folks

Hi there
I don't suppose you'd have a maintenance manual, with alarms etc, for a Puma TT 1800, please? We have two of these and it seems the maintenance manuals only have gone walk about.....
Thanks
Would anybody know of anyone with an FA55 that might be able to sell or copy the mechanical drawings/parts lists. We have an old 1998 machine and we have all the main manuals, but it looks like the...
Thanks lgg2, I appreciate your response. My question was posted 2 years ago, however, so I've managed to learn a bit since then. :)
Cheers anyway, I'm still grateful that you spent the time to try...
Might be a bit late for this reply, I'm afraid, but better late than never.
We have two CS25 machines, well.... a standard CS25 and CS25W which is a twin version with a turnover robot in between to...
Found a work around.
It only seems to be struggling with the 360° circle line using the I value, so I split that into 2 x 180° arcs and went with an R value instead, that works no problem.

Good morning folks (At least it is a snowy morning here in UK)
Running Fanuc 18i on Enshu JE60.
I have a proven program finish milling around two internal overlapping circular cavities. Works fine,...
Thanks BSH63, but no joy. PSR just enables/disables program search. I just found that 21M has #3232 with a bit to enable/disable hiding of 8000 and 9000 series programs, I'll check on the lathe...
Hi folks.
Looking to lock out editing option on O9000 numbered programs (#3202 NE9), but damned thing also inhibits display of said program. Anyone know of a way around this? I really want to still...
Thanks again Dan.
Yeah, it looks like I won't find my ideal solution, but such is life. That could be the best I'm gonna get, I think I'll probably go with the manual 'switch' option in the 500...
Thanks Dan, I can do that on one machine, no problem, but we have about 60 CNC's and don't really want to make a whole heap of 'dummy' RS232 plugs. Plus we also run with totally unskilled labour and...
Hi folks
I'm fooling around with some subs to get detailed cutting and chip to chip times independant of one another. I'm almost there, but I currently have a DPRNT function in one of my subs...
HI folks. I'm new to Acramatic, and just setting my first job. Can't get my head around the co-ordinate system setup. I'm Fanuc born and bred, so this a little different for me. My problem is I have...
thogib, that's a no go. Hitachi Seiki HG400 will not accept M9991, too many digits. Also tried M991 just in case, but that also alarmed out. Cheers anyway
Thanks thogib, I'm at home now, I'll give it a try tomorrow. I've also spoken to one of the Hitachi installation engineers and he has agreed that there is no 'standard' system variable on the 15m...
I'm still looking at it, application eng tells me there is no system variable for this. I'll update when I have more info
Bugger!! Not the answer I was hoping for. I've also been through the Fanuc manual and the manufacturers (Hitachi Seiki HG400) to no avail. Looks like a quick call and severe buttering up of Pollards...
Hi folks, anyone know the system variable number for the tool currently in spindle on a 15m? Doesn't seem to be in the book.
Cheers
Yep! #4120 would work as it is last tool call commanded, but I finally found the one I was after. Spindle tool variable for Seicos MYII is #57104. Woohoo!!!! Only took me a day and a half. Thanks for...
Thanks. I've just sorted it. #4400 is the variable for the Sigma control (We have some of those too). The variable for spindle tool for the Seicos MYII is #57104. Only took me a day and a half. Phew!!
Thanks, yeah I found that in one of our manuals too (We have some Sigma versions) but it alarmed out with 'undefined variable' when I tried it on the MYII. I've been moooching some more and found...
Hi folks. Anyone out there know what the system variable might be for the spindle tool on the above control. We have lots of Hitachi verticals, all VM40's of varying specs, some with Yasnac controls...
Hi folks. I'm trying to find out what the system variable is for the spindle tool on the above control. I'm making a macro similar to one I did for a Mori horizontal to check tool lengths of tools at...
Cheers for the info gents. I'm waiting for Pollards UK (They bought out Hitachi UK when they went bust), all I have so far from them is ' I think it's about 4Kn'. So much for the supplier. They are...
Thank RRL.
That might indeed be useful. Are those figures you mentioned the actual specs for a Mori? We also have a couple of Mori NH4000 hori's, which may not be SV40's but are still BT40 (As is...
HI folks. Does anyone out there know what the spindle clamping pressure should be on a Hitachi Seiki VM40? I have a problem which I'm sure is down to a drawbar issue, we have a Keltch gauge which...
Anyone out there use a PDA for program transfer? We have a Palm Zire 71 from Kennametal which works great 'cept the cable is on the way out. It's Palm Zire 16 pin one end and RS232 db25 at the other...

Give's me a rough idea, bearing in mind the scope over there compared to UK. I like the way you folks live, but you do have serious weather. Our weather is more of a talking point than a major issue....
We may use it for other parts in time, but we do use quite a lot of macro programming due to the fact that we have multi part fixturing on cheap crap fixtures where we need to use individual datums...
