I'm selling a brand new, never hooked up PhasePerfect PT010 10HP phase converter.
This unit was purchased new from Phase Technologies March 2021.
This unit has an...
Folks,
I'm not trying to list here (that's why I'm vague on the specifics), but I'm trying to sell my Phase perfect phase converter.
I see the industry arena 'Used Machinery' section but don't...
I've got a couple of 3d printers with the 2gt belts and they seem to work well for a low inertia application with no cutting forces. Can't see them handling an aggressive cutting load though.
Multiple belts? Why not just pick a different belt?
A 9mm 2GT belt is awfully small. Those are better suited to a no-load application like a 3D printer.
Probably not AutoCad, but you use Fusion 360 or Inventor.
You think that bear is cooked by now?
Regarding 3D printed parts. It depends on the filament used. While PLA wouldn't be suitable for higher temperatures, ABS, PETG or a nylon variant w/carbon fiber may well be. If nothing else, 3D...
Coupler manufacturers wouldn't do this if it didn't work - especially in a 6mm or 8mm shaft size.

Not related to the build, but another area gem for electronic components is Vetco Electronics in Bellevue.
I suspect it's because the post started out with the word "engraver." Moderators, please move to the cnc router forum.
Shouldn't this thread go back into the CNC router forum?
Btw, this is how the PETG 3D pulley turned out (it's half a pulley that is screwed together). The teeth lined up well enough to get the job done.
Thanks for the link Gary. I live in Renton.
Typical ball screw mounting has a fixed mount and a floating mount. The fixed mount is the reference mount and you want very little play in the mount. The mount in the video is the floating mount and...
I have resolved the Inventor issues with close loop and the sketch doctor.
As for the proprietary Gates profile and the variation with dimensions based on number of teeth, it turns out that I am...
The prodile I'm using is attached, but my question is about the difficulty in inventor, not whether the belt fits after I print the part. Sure, printing a pulley that fits a belt is my ultimate goal...
Can you open the existing ar15 file and copy the sketches to a new part file? Then extrude it in the different direction for the jig?
I would like to 3D print an 100 tooth pulley and have drawn it up in Inventor.
I've created a single tooth profile and have used the circular function to rotate it.
Sometimes when done I can...
More than likely the collet caused this problem, as ger21 said. Why? Imagine a burr around the inner edge of the collet scoring the bit. If you had a photo, I'd bet we would see a clean score line...
Post a close up picture of each of the broken emds.Did the bit break right where it was sticking out of the collet?
Even better - have the part sent out to the same lab for measurement.
I end up renting a telescoping strap lift. Not sure its name but it had two forks on a telescopic column. I needed this lift because the 11x11 room only had a 6 foot ceiling so a cherry picker hoist...
My 'workshop' is an 11ft x 11ft room in the far corner of my basement. It was enough of a challenge to get my new Grizzly G0602 lathe off the pallet, down a grass hill to the back of the house, into...
With a bit of googling...

Great work, man. Hopefully you've grown as well and have learned how to post and interact in a public forum.
If advice was followed it would be helpful to indicated as much in the replies, don't you think?
