Since my first attempt on a Movement was not successfull at all, due to the missing supply of watchmaking parts ( stones and small parts like shockabsorbers) i was in need of some temporary distance...
If you want to go just 2D or 2,5D
RHino includes a Rhino related ( visual basic) derivative engine.
If you are used to visual basic ... try the following:
draw a spline.... create an...
For 2,5D I did my own Rhino scripted CAM ...
and for 3D I use RhinoCam2
Just the controller enclosure for the main spindle of my recent CNC lathe project. Axis of support as inverter and PC are included in my mobil mill controller hand so have a separate enclosure!
First create the ribstructure of the leaf in 3d
expand it so it protrudes the shape of your leaf
connect all the ribs tips so you get a course template of the leaf ( wire mesh)!

Without trying it I would first ask - who does the IP of the posted material belong to??
Different possiblities :
-Use a vector program ( e.g. Corel or Freehand) to convert to a Rhino compatible format!
-Use Rhino and import the Clipart as a background picture - Trace manually in...
Same with me!
I'm mainly busy with models and tools for RC fuselages and parts, also for watches. Teaching Rhino difficult - but ok, if you would be interested in modelling a plane from scratch...
Sounds interesting!

Easiest description regarding accuracy ... you will get for what you pay for ... precision is rather the same priority when it comes to cost as size ( sometimes even more!!!)
I think - if you are willing to go for approved stuff - Ball guided rails and ballthreads fulfilling the tolerances you need ( eg. IT 5 which is acumulated thrad and nut tolerance of about 22 microns...
Was not that satisfied with the dial so I took another attempt!
the origianl dial is looking better than shown in the pics ... bad illumination and dark ambient light so the silver does not look...
The EDF wheel was about 3,5h

Pointers about 20 Min pp
The clock itself is made from
1.4112 which is rather the
same as AISI 404B
Thank you ! Making this watch is a very new and very interesting attempt low cost, much invest of work and rather fast with the results! only thing is that 0.0x mm ~ 0,00x" tol is rather usual!

To be not too hard:
I would have - dependent on what you want to cut - several concerns:

THings you would have to specify to get a god result is :
Spin pulse will stabilize the direction of the axis in space
but due to this effect spin pulse needs speed to work and a rather high...
