I think it's better for the tube to run longer on low power than for shorter periods on high power but I may be wrong.
Thanks alot, will sure try it and update.
I never ran it above 20% other than the last test I did when it was on 90% just for a few seconds.
It seems like the beam is being blocked/hitting the nozzle from the inside since it gives me the same power output when at 20% and 90%.
I looked at the tube and the purple laser seem much brighter...

Hey Guys,
I got my machine for about a month and used it only about 5 times for a few single cuts of squares in 2mm acrylic.
I used to cut 2mm acrylic at 20% power 10mm/s

The laser power is set on the machine from 0 to 99.99 (percent I guess) so what is the point in...
That sucks...
but thanks alot for the info :)
Edit: Fixed it!
but it only works with an annoying software called LaserDRW.
I tried with the nice software called RDWorks V8 and it doesn't communicate...
Why is that?
Oh awesome, thanks alot :)
Hey Guys,
New here :)
I have a 50W CO2 laser on the way.
I will be cutting mostly 2-4mm acrylic (just simple squares) for my business (building boxes) and would like to have a super easy...
