Malish,
What Cad/Cam software are you using?
Thanks
Thanks for the chart, I think you can ignore the pm I sent now:)
Awesome stuff!
I had issues with my c11 I ended up not using it, and life is good, but I am running a simple set up also. Just a simple 3 axis cnc router. The issue I had was that when I went to cut a circle, it...
Anyone out there with a freedom patroit?
Thanks, I called camaster today, seemes like a stout machine, defiantly will look closely at this company when the funds arrive. I think biesse is a bit out of my reach. I tried calling freedom...
Though about it, but figured if I that kind of money to spend, I could go more industrial.
Hi all,
I'm a high school woodshop teacher who is looking for a cnc router for around 50,000 give or take. I would like a tool changer, and great customer service. I was looking at the haas...
I ordered up some bearings today. This might actually happen.
right, thanks for the pic. just need to get off my butt and start working now. Always the hard part.
Thanks for the advice, I'm going to do what you said and make a bushing to go over the...
OK, I see it now. Sorry about that. I looked very closely at where the bushing meets the screw portion and saw a hair line split where I did not before. Just so I got this right, I am going to...
I think we are talking about two different things. I see the radius where the shaft goes from 30 to 35mm. But what is hard to see is that there is a very small fillet where the 35mm part of the...
Ah, I see. I went and took a closer look and it still looks like that shoulder is an intergral part of the screw. It has a slight fillet were the shoulder meets the screw.
Here is the motor end of the screw.
Like I said I got if for free. I'll try to get some pics later. Right now the screw is 8 feet long, but I will cutting it down to 6 feet and turning a shoulder at the jr college.
If I got this right I will need a total of 3 bearings. 2 tapered rollers which are oppose each other at the motor side of the screw, and one roller bearing which will support the end of the screw. ...
Thank you,
How did you find that so fast? I could not find the size in the ebay description. I also need a 30mm inner diameter as my screw has a stepped shoulder on it. I asked that seller on...
Thanks. that's a good call. do you have a good source?
Thanks
Hi everyone,
I am building a larger router and I have a 6 foot 2 inch dia ballscrew that was given to me. I already bought 1280 oz in steppers so I am going to use that to power it. Here is my...
Looks like I got some homework.
I have been following Hoss on YouTube, I'm sure I'll pick up some good info there. I teach high school drafting and wood shop, so we get master cam for cheap. I assume that master cam will work to...
I thought about a router conversion, but would rather have a stand alone. Have you looked into the kit sold on seemeCNC? It looks like a good deal. Do you use Mach to control these machines? If...
That looks great. I am a newby to the 3d printing stuff, but I have built a Cnc router. Do you have a good resource to learn hoe to make one?
Thank you
On my 2200 there is no support at the end of the screw, at the top there is a fixed end double angular thrust bearing set up with a nylock nut to hold the thing tight. Good luck
So my friends were back at the 4400 at the Jr. college last Thursday and found that there is in fact a -+ 15 power supply hooked in the spindle drive. Cool. Now there is some relay issue that he...
right on b5n7i2o5 you tell em. Lets get this thing figured out!!!
I am not sure what kind of steppers are on this exact machine. The guy before us hooked up the AHHA, so he may know, but he moved out of the area.
Got to get to work, the boss is comming
HUH?
I am kind of new to all this, and will need to ask/reseach this stuff before I come to an idea of what I am doing
Thanks
123cnc,
So with this pwm should you run + or - 15VDC or + or - 10VDC?
With the above mentioned card, do you feed it a 12VDC signal, then it spits out whatever voltage you need to run the...
