    Material Suppliers in Canada

    Hi guys,
I'd more than happy for recommendations on small batch material suppliers in Ontario/Canada: aluminum, steel, plastics.
I'm in Ottawa rural area, so online purchase + delivery would be a...

Re: Something went wrong on Amazon.ca

Another huge discount on Amazon.ca: just bought this Mitutoyo zero setter for $157.54. Regular price $400+ everywhere else.

Re: Tormach 770 - Minimum Starter Setup

Fresh thoughts following the assembly of the machine. I really regret for not adding the arm to my shopping list. I would say it should be a part of a minimum setup, otherwise good luck finding a...

Haha, I mean, is it safe to leave the workshop to freeze if I take a long break? I have only fog buster, no flood coolant system. Will Kool Mist 77 freeze? Found only the boiling point in the...

Actually, is there a real reason to keep the workshop warm? Can some serious frost damage the machine or other precise equipment, like indicators, calipers etc?

Re: Something went wrong on Amazon.ca

The strange thing is that almost $500 is the real price. On Amazon.com and everywhere else it costs around USD 360 = the same CAD 500.

    5 Axis Machining on Tormach?

I'm just looking on those tilting motorized rotary tables (P/N 31996 and 31997) and wondering if there is any chance that Tormach adds another stepper to these tables to allow 5 axis machining?
