Pastaman - did you notice a difference in the flatness or squareness of you parts you make? How about the surface finish?
why hasn’t Tormach put a kit together for the Series 3?
To get us to buy MX machines.
Do you have an automatic oiler? It could be the hydraulic force of the oiler pushing the saddle and table up during oiling, thus the cutter cutting deeper on one or two passes only.
Does the MX come factory with a BT-30 spindle? Or is that optional, like on a series I, II, III ?
As was I. I was hoping for a longer bed, doesn't need more horsepower for what I do. 8" between centers with the 5C and 4" between centers with a 3jaw is extremely limiting.
So what is the "M" supposed to signify? Mill, mold, master, metric, mo money...... what??
Cool. We need more specs.
I wonder when NYCCNC will get one.
The 1100 is adequate for what I do. The stand, however, is not. I use flood coolant and the stand leaks like sieve, does not drain the coolant back to the tank very well, the coolant tank is too...

They have a monitor rack too?? I can't find it on their website.
EDIT: Oh wait, do they call it the "control rack"?
Has anybody gotten this to work?
Can the PathPilot conversational thread mill internal NPT threads? I haven't upgraded to PP yet, I'm still on Mach.
Very nice enclosure. Can you give us some details? It looks like 80/20 framing with acrylic sheet.
If you have a manual draw bar then probably not. If you have a power draw bar then the pull force is significant. Is it too much for the body of the Haimer? IDK.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using...
How can you use the Haimer for zeroing the Z axis if you put it directly into an R8 collet?
BTW, I bought mine (inch version) direct from Tormach along with their TTS holder for it. I'm so glad I...
Is the ATC's arm actuated by pneumatics or linear actuators? From the sound of the air compressor in the background I'm guessing its by pneumatics. If so, why did you go that route?
