The more I look at it the more I realize that the limits are in the correct spot, I believe. If the control box was not were it is then the X and Y axis would be correct at being that corner....

Mach has a pop-up that tells you it saves X amount of restore points, so maybe it is just a matter or going back a little further. I don't think xml should make it crash, like Lee said.

Go into mach and select "operator" and on the drop down select "restore settings".
Unless you had to reload EVERYTHING, it should restore your settings.
