I tried what you said, and lo & behold ...... It worked.....you were dead right, it looks like I've got some work to do on my post processor.

I don't think that is the problem tho, thats the same as all my other program start ups, I've even copied the whole start from another program that worked perfectly, and it still won't move in Y...
I had an idea to hold a nozzle off a molding m/c , in a collet , and a turning tool in the vice, to re skim the domed end.
I generated the code, but when I ran it, the m/c totally ignores the Y axis...
thanks for your help, that's a worry that the software output dodgy code, I'll look at the post processor maybe run the program through another generic one, and see if the same error occurs

About 40 holes were cut and with 4 holes the m/c ignored the circular move all...
Does the 15-M controller have the capability to accept helical moves for 3 axis milling?
