    Re: Servo motor setup

UCCNC is easy to operate, has realtime plasma THC control. I'm using it on my plasma machine for over 2 years now.
  2. Re: Constant issues with mach 4... alternatives?

You can use UCCNC, it is way better than Mach3 and the CNCDrive motion controllers work with mach3, mach4 and also with UCCNC. You can switch between software any time.

    Re: AXBBE to VFD

COM is "common" which is labeled GND as "ground" in you VFD.
  4. Re: Axbb-e not Lnking to PC through UCCNC (no Blue Light)

The UCCNC runs in demo mode only without a license key.
Read point 1.6 of the UCCNC manual: http://www.cncdrive.com/UCCNC/UCCNC_usersmanual.pdf

    Re: UC300ETH ETHERNET MOTION CONTROLLER?

It depends on how many I/Os will you need?
The UC300ETH has lots of them, but you need a breakout board or boards to connect your sensors and switches and buttons etc.
The AXBB-E has less of them,...

    Re: UC300ETH ETHERNET MOTION CONTROLLER?

You can also use the UCSB CNCdrive - motion controls or UCBB breakout board CNCdrive - motion controls

Re: UC100 not always connecting to PC

Is your breakout board optically isolated?
  8. Re: NVUM v2 version CNC Controller 3-Axis "device is not ready"

I think you do not understand the possibilities of UCCNC, it is comparable to Mach3.
It has unlimited custom macros, plugin interface, built in screen editor etc.
And not at last it works...
  9. Re: NVUM v2 version CNC Controller 3-Axis "device is not ready"

I really have not much experience with Mach4. When I tried it with parallel port at that time I only had that then the application collapsed on me several times and so I gave up on it and went with...
  10. Re: NVUM v2 version CNC Controller 3-Axis "device is not ready"

I don't know about mach4, I used Mach3 earlier, but these controllers support all the features you listed and more with the UCCNC which is superior to Mach3/4. ;)
And they also support the features...

Re: Connection issues: c76-us300eth with uccnc

The UC300ETH is just like any network devices, it is like a network printer so if you know how computer networks work then you know how to set it up.
If you do not know computer networking at all...
  12. Re: NVUM v2 version CNC Controller 3-Axis "device is not ready"

Get a AXBB-E ethernet controller it has similar functionality as the NVUM, but it works not like the NVUM. ;)
And it works with 3 softwares, UCCNC, Mach3, Mach4 so you have choices.

    Don't get a...

Re: Connection issues: c76-us300eth with uccnc

You did not follow the manual.
On the top of page 9. it says to set the computer IPV4 IP address to 10.10.10.10 and the Subnet mask to 255.255.255.0. You set the IPV4 IP address to 10.10.10.11 which...

No, you do not put those into the IPV4. Read the manual.

Re: Connection issues: c76-us300eth with uccnc

Do not get stumped, just read the UC300ETH users manual: http://cncdrive.com/MC/UC300ETH%20datasheet/UC300ETH_manual.pdf

If you will read it then you will see that your IP V4 settings are wrong,...
  16. Re: motion control board (breakout board ) which one to buy??

He already wrote in another forum topic that his problem is that the analog 0-10V output on his AXBB controller does not go up to 10Volts, just to 9.2 Volts is what he wrote if I recall.
    On my AXBB...
  17. Re: UC400ETH and MACH3 connection problem solution

You should have only one UC400ETH plugin in the Mach3 folder. If you have more than one that is a problem.

    Re: Need help please

I do not see any advertised/spec'd voltage tolerance % for the analog 0-10V signal. It is not advertised or spec'd at all as far as I see.
Mine goes between 0-9.9Volts though which is quite accurate.

    Re: Need help please

Try adjust your VFD analog input Volts/output Hertz parameter to make it to rotate your spindle on 100% at 9.2Volts instead of at 10Volts and the problem is solved.
  20. Re: motion control board (breakout board ) which one to buy??

No. You will get what you pay for. :)

Those are the worst. Just search this forum for them and you'll see.
  21. Re: motion control board (breakout board ) which one to buy??

    UC400ETH or UC300ETH-5LPT or AXBB-E.

Re: which cnc motion controller for mach 3 ?

UC400ETH. It has less in and outputs but enough for my plasma machine.
AXBB-E is also a good option because it has integrated breakout board.

Re: PCB Autoleveler Plugin for UCCNC

    Which controller do you have?
The UC400ETH, UC300ETH, AXBB-E all have 2 probe inputs. You can set one to active low and one to active high and connect your 2 probes to the 2 inputs.

Get a real UC100 instead of a chinese fake one and your problem will be solved. (just my 2cents.) :)
